  6. This is the new release (V37.6) of the GUIEnvironment System !
  7.  
  8. GUIEnvironment is a developer system which safes you a lot of time when
  9. designing GUIs and integrating them into your application.
  10.  
  11. It consists mainly of the following parts:
  12.  
  13. 1) A GadToolsBox ((C) Jaba Development) Code Generator
  14. 2) The guienv.library
  15. 3) Some developing libraries and modules
  16.  
  17. The guienv.library is the main part of GUIEnvironment. It is a shared
  18. library which supports some powerful functions for creating, checking
  19. and handling GUIs.
  20. The library "takes over" the intuition/gadtools message handling, and
  21. now you can design your application without wondering about the GUI.
  22. You can even write in an "object orintated style". Most messages are
  23. handled by guienv.library WITHOUT bothering the application !
  24.  
  25.  
  26. Some special features:
  27. - font adaptive GUIs
  28. - self resizable GUIs
  29.  
  30. - access to all gadtools and BOOPSI gadgets
  31. - own gadget kinds (progress indicator, some border kinds)
  32. - supports gadtools menus
  33. - requesters (even asl and also ReqTools (C) Nico Francois)
  34.  
  35. - key equivalents for gadgets are handled automatically
  36. - gadget and menu help functions using the AmigaGuide
  37. - localization of gadgets and menus without changing the source
  38.  
  39. - very small but fast shared library (usable with every compiler/
  40.   programming language which is able to use shared libraries)
  41. - interface modules for SAS/C, M2Amiga and OberonA
  42. - examples with full source code for each compiler !
  43.  
  44. Changes to v37.5:

  46. - Fixed many bugs in GEGen
  47. - TextField gadget (C) Mark Thomas support
  48. - Fixed problems with guienv.library and Multiview under OS3.0
  49.  
  50. GUIEnvironment requires OS2.04+ !
